SPROUT, Brooklyn

While schmying around this weekend,

I of course had to make a pit stop

at one of my favorite stores in Williamsburg,

SPROUT Home on Grand Street.

While I was there, I picked up a few new succulents to pot in my

Urn EcoFriendly Planter (they are made from rice husks!)

that I also bought at Sprout a while back.

This store has the most adorable treasures for your garden and home, including some of the most uniquely beautiful flowers that they can arrange for events or your apartment.

They also do flower arrangement and terrarium classes in the store, I definitly want to check out the next terrarium class!

to tattoo, or to not tattoo?

I've always loved tattoos on other people, but struggled to picture myself

with a tattoo of my own. Until, I was introduced to the work of

Amanda Wachob.

Her technique is outrageous and unlike anything I have ever seen before,

but definitly something I could see myself having.

What do you think?

While the movie premiered @ Sundance, it promises to be

basically an orgy of color, bass, rhythm and slightly disturbing images.

unfortunately, tickets are sold out for that night

but a second showing has been added on March 3.

Apparently some of their prints were made from overlapping and criss-crossing photocopies of different plaids and such... i think this serves as inspiration for a little DIY project??
